Shuttle & valet services

If your guests cannot park within a short walking distance of your event, it’s best to provide an alternative.  This can be done by having them park their own vehicles and then providing a shuttle service to the venue.  If you do this, then discuss with the company the number of guests, how quickly it will take to get from Point A to Point B, and then the window of time to do so.   If the designated parking area is off-site and the guests are not allowed to park their cars, then the only alternative would be to provide valet service.  If this is the case, make sure to work with a reputable company and ask what their insurance and liability coverage is for their staff.  Having a service of either may seem like a luxury, but if you really want to use that venue, and you have a parking scenario to consider, then definitely weigh in your options.
